The area is described on Wikipedia as follows:
It is not so far north as its extreme Arctic-like conditions might indicate and Mount Waddington and its attendant peaks pose some of the most serious expedition mountaineering to be had in North America — and some of the most extreme relief and spectacular mountain scenery.
From Waddington's 13,186 ft fang to sea level at the heads of Bute and Knight Inlets is only a few miles; across the 10,000-foot-deep (3,000 m) gorges of the Homathko and theKlinaklini Rivers stand mountains almost as high, and icefields even vaster and whiter, only a few aerial miles away, with a maw deeper than the Grand Canyon, comparable in relief to the Himalayas (to which the terrain of British Columbia was compared by colonial-era travellers).

A fascinating remote area, and only 270km as the crow flies from Vancouver.... Read more

North Creek Camp

https://bcmc.ca/m/news/view/North-Creek-Camp

https://bcmc.ca/m/news/view/North-Creek-Camp

This camp will be at the BCMC's North Creek Cabin. You will be asked to do some work in and around the cabin while there. Arrangements have been made to have all of the required building repair materials, tools, all of our gear flown into the cabin by helicopter. We will get a cargo net in Pemberton from Blackcomb aviation in the morning and take it to the trail head. We'll then load the cargo net and hike on into the cabin with just a day pack. In the early evening the net will be flown into the cabin for us. There will be a fee for this service the amount to be determined. Many hiking and mountaineering opportunities are in the vicinity of the cabin. Sugus, Sessel, Samson, Delilah, peak 8719, and others. The highest peak being Mt Truax at 9,450'. See the write up in the 2002 BC mountaineer, and in Fairleys Climbing and hiking guidebook. Day 1 is the drive up to the trail head and then the hike in to our first base camp. I've used the trip type as "mixed" because you may only do the hiking routes, or, take harder more challenging routes. That will be your choice. Days 2-3-4 will have day hikes from camp. Day 5 we will hike back past the cars [ where we can restock food and fuel ], to base camp #2. Days 6-7-8 will have more day hikes. Day 9 we will hike out and home. The only gear suggested to bring will be an ice axe, and that is not mandatory.
The fee to attend will be $10 each.
The topo map for the area is 92 J 15. Please do not call before May 1st. there will be no limit to the camp number at this time.
