Trip Description

Building on the success of Francis' trip a couple weeks ago.

A practice session suitable for riders with relatively low to moderate experience and skills. The emphasis is on riding cross-country as opposed to downhill (North Shore). This means riding single track with roots, bridges, some skinnies (low), and some drops (rolled). These are all good skills to hone in preparation for using your mountain bike as an approach tool.

If we have enough people of varied levels then we may split up into two groups.

You must bring a suitable mountain bike with suspension (hardtail ok), helmet, gloves, and knee/shin armour (unless you are confident that you don't need the armour).

We will meet at the trailhead on North Road at 6:15, but we can always try to arrange to carpool via the trip planning forum.  Expect to return to the cars shortly before 9.
