A practice session suitable for riders with relatively low to moderate experience and skills. We will ride cross-country type trails: Double-and-single track with roots, bridges, some skinnies (low), and some drops; most of which you can roll, or there are ride-arounds.
These are all good skills to hone in preparation for using your mountain bike as an approach tool. Except that riding SFU is WAAAY more fun than 12km of slogging road!
Please bring a suitable mountain bike with suspension (hardtail ok) and a helmet. You can bring gloves, and knee/shin armour if you wish.
We will meet at the Signboard - North Road trailhead at 6:30pm. Expect to return to the cars shortly before 9pm.
Closest intersection is North Road and Chapman Avenue.
