This will be a moderately fast paced trip and is dog friendly.  The trail is 22.5 km and 1150 m of elevation on a well graded trail.  Great views and the most southern stand of alpine larch which turn golden before dropping their needles in the fall.  Expect snow on the upper reaches.  Bring warm cloths and a head lamp with spare batteries.
