Dates - Aug 1-4, 2025

Planning for a 3 night/4 day trip to Kees and Claire Memorial Hut near Russet Lake in Whistler. This will be a family friendly event, but all members are welcome to join. There are different hiking and scrambling objectives in the area for individuals with varying experience/skill/fitness levels. e.g. Fissile Peak, Whirlwind Peak, Overlord Peak (Page 90-95 in Scrambles in Southwest BC Book). Families can choose to explore around Russet Lake and do some short hikes.

The hut can be accessed via Singing Pass Trail or via Gondola to Roundhouse Lodge and then Musical Bumps trail.

Hut Booking: BCMC has secured 30 spots for members and we will be doing a group booking before end of April, 2025. Payment details will be sent you once you have signed up for this trip.
