Our objective is Academy NE (a peak NE of and almost the same height as Academy Peak). Upon consideration of the local terrain and snow condition, we shall first summit Wishbone Peak. We then drop down to a bowl before ascending Academy NE. The part after Wishbone Peak is exploratory. Return on the same route.

Pace will be moderate but determined. Hiking time will be at least 10 hours and probably more.

Please bring snowshoes, axe, crampons, headlamps, avi gear, other basic backcountry essentials.

Naturally, final go ahead will depend on avi conditions and weather.
