The Plan: We will meet at the trailhead and start up right at 4:30 PM. To give everyone the workout they are looking for, you can choose to tackle either the Grouse Grind (stairs) or the BCMC Trail (rougher, roots, and rocks).
Pace & Regrouping: Everyone is free to hike at their own pace, whether you are pushing for a personal best or taking your time. We will not be hiking as one tight pack. Instead, we will all regroup at the top inside the chalet to hang out, grab a drink, and catch up, if you so choose.
Descent: Once we are done at the top, you can choose to download via the gondola (cheaper if you purchase online, cheaper still if you get a fiver pass) or hike down.
Requirements & Gear: • Water and a light snack. • Hiking poles can be helpful. • Appropriate layers. Be prepared for changing spring weather near the summit.
