An amazingly beautiful area at the edge of Garibaldi and Golden Ears parks. Access is challenging but I think it will be worth it!

Bruce Fairley also has a short description in his book.
There are two options for access - via what sounds like an epicly heinous bushwhack through very steep terrain from Sloquet springs or via Fire Lake. I'm leaning towards to longer but maybe less ugly approach from Fire Lake. We can discuss as a group. Tons of summits to choose from in the area. I would really like to get up Flash which is supposed to be the most challenging and Ember and Flames also look really attractive. We can discuss all these details and settle on a final route plan as a group, though.
Please be prepared for glacier travel, stiff class 4 and maybe some low to mid 5 terrain, steep snow and some significant bushwhacking. I'm not fast but I do keep plodding along at a steady pace for a long time :) I really value travelling and making decisions as a team with a good focus on safety so probably not the trip for you if you will find it frustrating to stay together.
I can take a total of 4 people in my truck and will open up to another 2 if we can get another sturdy 4x4.
