First Section (West Canyon Trail to Alder Flats): The first 6 kilometers are relatively flat and gentle, gaining about 270 meters through the forest.
Second Section (The Valley & Switchbacks): The trail steepens significantly past Alder Flats, moving through a rocky boulder gully and root-heavy forest switchbacks.
Third Section (Panorama Ridge): Arrives around the 11-kilometer mark near the emergency shelter and campsite area, offering open ridgeline views.
Final Push to the Summit: The last stretch involves class 3 scrambling, large boulders, exposed rock, cairns, and a fixed rope section leading up to the twin peaks.
