Last-minute attempt to find some folks to visit Harrison Hut area this weekend for three days (Friday-Sunday). A rough idea I have is (open to minor adjustment):
Friday: Drive and hike to the hut. Saturday: Overseer and Frozen Boot. Sunday: Three Stooges; then hike out and drive back late on Sunday night (probably arriving home close to midnight).
This is a mountaineering trip, requires glacier and snow travel, crevasse rescue skills, and some summits are Class 3 scrambling. I'm a moderate-pace traveller, and this will be my first time beyond the hut, but the itinerary mentioned above is well within my ability. Looking for similarly experienced people; or, if you are fast, at least you are willing to go at a chill pace. We'll make decisions together as a group and everyone is expected to contribute (i.e., this is not a guided/led-type of trip). It'll probably be a good idea to bring tents as the hut doesn't require registration and can get crowded.
Since it's last minute, organization will likely over quick email/text/call on Thursday late afternoon/evening.
