Please drop by Saturday or Sunday to check out the latest addition to the BCMC group of cabins.  It is only about a half-hour walk from a short spur off the Cypress Bowl highway along an umbrella-friendly trail through a lovely old-growth forest with historic log cabins nestled among the trees.  Coffee, hot chocolate, and muffins will be provided.  Registration is not required, but it would be helpful for planning.  Please see "More Information" on the booking page of the BCMC website for directions to the hut.  The cabin will be open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM both Saturday and Sunday.  There are lots of short walks from the cabin to West Lake, the 1000 year old Hollyburn Fir, or the recently upgraded Baden-Powell Trail, or make a day of it and hike up Hollyburn Peak.
