Dust off your boots, pack your sense of adventure (and maybe some bug spray), because the Rainbow Ramblers are heading to the alpine! We’re heading out for an overnight escape to the delightfully rustic Mountain Lake Hut, and you’re officially invited.
By day, we’ll be playing a game of "choose your own summit adventure" with potential scrambles up Ben Lomond, Mt. Sheer, and/or Red Mountain (depending on the skill level of the group). By afternoon, we might just test our bravery with a crisp alpine swim to rinse off the trail sweat. Whether you’re in it for the rocky peaks, the cozy hut vibes, or just some top-tier company under the stars, this is one weekend you won't want to miss. Who's in?
The tentative plan is to drive up the Furry Creek FSR to the trailhead to the Mountain Lake Hut, saving us valuable time and avoiding the long slog.
Bookings for your spot in the hut can be made
here. Only $10/night for BCMC members.
