You've probably climbed the Black Tusk false summit in summer, but have you seen what it looks like in winter?
The plan is to camp at Taylor Meadows on Saturday night, climb the Black Tusk on Sunday morning, and ski back to the car in the afternoon.
We'll be roped up for the ascent for safety. I'll lead and try to set up an anchor for protection. Mixed climbing experience is not necessary but an asset.
We'll have dinner together at the shelter. Bring your favourite food and beverage!
This trip is highly weather/condition dependent. It may get rescheduled or cancelled. We may also turn back before the chimney if it doesn't look good in there.
IF -- the condition looks amazing from the false summit, and it's easy to protect, we can even make an attempt for the true summit.
