Trip Description
This 40 hour Canadian Red Cross Wilderness First Aid is designed for anyone who works, lives, or plays more than a few hours into the backcountry. If you are seeing this page, there's a very good chance that includes you.

Schedule
This is a 5 day course, from Friday to Tuesday. Each day starts at 9 AM and ends at 5 PM. There will also be an evening scenario, usually on the 2nd day, which will end around 10 PM.
Course content Learn to take the lead in medical emergencies when bystanders are anxious, resources are scarce, and rescue might take up to 24-48 hours. Topics include:
