Went up with a couple of new members over the course of two trips
its a nice area! awd or suv accessible, up the morris creek spur. road walk then, a short but thick bushwack to a talus field then the lakes. both trips made the lake in 3-3.5 hrs. the summit ridge has some good spots to bivy overnight (hopefully not too windy) with flat spots. some large oven sized boulders are very loose. i would consider them a high danger level. keep an eye out.
there is a hut called "the temple" that shows up on the maps at the end of morris creek fsr. it is not the snowspider hut or beekers hut. ive scoured the internet but havent found anything aside a potentially vague blog post so it will remain a mystery for now.
I will be back there next year to do the summit ridge. meaby search for the hut as well.
