Did not do this as a club trip but thought I'd post a trip report for those wanting to head up to Coliseum soon.

I parked at Norvan Fall parking lot, hiked through the Needles through Lynn Peak Route and turned left by Norvan Pass, heading back to Headwaters Trail.

The conditions were dry, it was initially nice and cool as I gained elevation towards South Lynn Peak and it got much hotter towards Lynn Peak and beyond when the day warmed up, North side of South Needle scramble is still a little wet and slippery, only saw little pockets of snow and puddles of stagnant water past North Needle. There are some vegetation scrambling sections down on North Needle that one should go slowly.

There is no water along this route until you hike down Coliseum Mountain Route, where small streams become present 900 m elevation.

I did this route, North-Middle-South Needles, via Paton last year (as a club trip). We biked up the Seymour Reservoir, and accessed the North Needle from the west side, which I was told involved a different line than what makes sense from Norvan Falls. We descended to our bikes via Hydrolic Trail. I thought it was quite enjoyable, though water is lacking (there was a bit between Paton and the North Needle).
