One day session covering the essentials of terrain identification and route selection.  Location will be Needle Peak on the Coquihalla. 

Minimum Equipment

• Suitable tested method of travel on snow (snowshoes or backcountry skis)
• appropriate clothing for alpine travel
• transceiver, shovel, probe.
