Check out early season snow by skiing up the gentle Fat Dog Creek/Cambie creek to the alpine. Because this is gentle terrain I am thinking of taking my old three pin cross-country skis with fish-scales and also skins. This trip will be OK for beginners or those of us that are slower, older or would like an easier paced trip. This trip will also be suitable for snowshoers if there are enough that can carpool together. The trip will be postponed to Monday if the weather conditions are unfavourable. This trip is suitable for new-to-backcountry skiers. You should have experience with your backcountry equipment.
