This is a fun, challenging trip that will be done at a relaxed pace.
It is dependant on good weather.
If original dates look rainy, the trip will be rescheduled to a weekend in August TBD.
Plan:Bike in Thursday night. Stash bikes, discuss plans and options over dinner (there's a picnic table!). Camp. Be ready to start hiking at 9 a.m. Friday morning. Option for those who can't camp Thursday to get up really early, bike in, and be ready to hike with us by 9 a.m. Friday morning.
Where we camp Friday and what order we do peaks in will be discussed Thursday night.
Could A) camp near Bishop and do Bishop & Klegg Friday.
Could B) save Bishop & Klegg as options for the way out and go straight to Fannin Lake Friday.
I'm leaning strongly toward B.
Could make the call once we get to the base of Bishop.
Saturday for sure do Dickens and Brokeback and make it back to the base of Bishop.
Option for those who need to return early to hike and bike out on Saturday. Option B Friday will definitely make this easier!
Set up camp at the base of Bishop.
Sunday option to tag Bishop, Klegg, Gibbens on the way out (or not).
Brokeback is a new addition to the Bagger Challenge.
