This is a start at improved local cliff climbing in Coquitlam.  The cliffs are ( wet?) mossy now  and need cleaning in prep for a hot and local summer.   We can build anchors off the existing rings and chains , safely lower and clean the rock face as we go.  Alternatively we can climb up from the bottom.

You'll need a rope, anchor material, sport or trad gear plus experience building anchors, belaying and  lead sport or trad climbing.  

Yes it's lots of work but will pay off when you want to climb for a couple of  hours  next month.  

I'll drive there this PM, hike in and have a look but I expect the cliffs to be very mossy after our rainy winter.

I have a few extra wire brushes and Raj donated a nice brush like Squamish uses for their moss cleaning.

We'll meet at 10am at the Ridge Park Trailhead 1903 Parkway Blvd Coquitlam.  It's a 15 min hike.
