Anticipating heatwave, we are going to take a fairly chill pace to bag these 2 Gunn scramble peaks in the Skagit Valley and enjoy the lake. I have set the departure time to Friday 8am but may adjust depending on afternoon temps. For anyone who wishes to drive themselves, may join us up at the lake later too. I've been up there years ago and recall limited tent spots. Hammocks, bivies and small tents are ideal here. No permits or reservations required. I have a spacious full size truck and vehicle mileage will be $180, divided evenly (3ppl = $60ea, 4ppl = $45ea).
Total hiking distance: ~20km. Total elevation gain: ~2500m.
