This is a beautiful hike and a satisfying summit, off the Duffey Lake Road. Mostly hiking with some easy scrambling near the top.

The only drawback really is that it's a long drive from Vancouver - probably a good 3 hours each way. I would be open to car camping somewhere nearby on the Friday if people preferred that, but at least Nairn Falls is currently full, though I'm checking for cancellations. Otherwise a daytrip it is.

My hiking speed is pretty average - I'm probably on the moderate/slow side of the times listed in https://besthikesbc.ca/, and I'd prefer to go with people who enjoy going with the pace of the group, and enjoy the journey.

We can discuss carpooling and exact timings once we have a group together. Since it is a long drive, though, we should make a reasonably early start.

Please note that I will cancel/reschedule if it seems likely to rain, or to have low cloud giving us no views.
