Hi guys, 

This is a non instructional practice session, just some outdoor enthusiasts coming together to spread out around Mystery Peak (other suggestions welcome) and practice navigating the old fashion way. 
Good skill to have in the backcountry, especially going into skitouring season where white outs are definetly a possibilty. Also, electronics can fail :-) 

Please bring your own compass and map. It's easy to print them with Caltopo.

Looking for some like minded people who haven't done navigating with map and compass in a while and want to get the hang of it again, as well as for anyone who just wants to get a practice session in or share tips. 

Bring weather appropriate clothing and the rest of the 10 essentials.
