I am hosting a Saturday morning hike to St. Mark's Summit.  We will be taking a quick detour on our way up to hit Bowen Lookout. 

Full Transparency: This will be my first time doing St. Mark's Summit, so we will navigate the route together. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to message me!

Distance: ~11.5 km round trip

Elevation Gain: ~500 m

Pace: A moderate, sustained pace.

Terrain: The trail starts on well-maintained, wide gravel paths before becoming much more rugged for the second half. You can expect uneven ground covered in exposed, slippery tree roots. Because it is early May, expect snow at the upper elevations.
Conditions: Prepare for a lot of mud on the trail.
