Trip Description

Class 3 - low 5th scrambling with significantly more loose rocks than Sky Pilot.

Meet up at St. David's United Church for carpool could be arranged.

We take the first gondola up, follow the classic Sky Pilot approach route until turning right for the Copilot.

The continuous snowline starts at ~1350m after the tree section. Crampons will be used to climb.

~15km, 1100m EG, Moderate pace

Mandatory gear: Helmet (loose rock), crampons, ice axe, harness, rappel device

I can bring a 30m thin rope, a 50m single rope, and a 10m cord for the rappel (~40m in length at sections), or if anyone wants to bring their own rope, we can discuss that too.

The ability to manage loose rocks while scrambling is a must.

Solid rappelling skills are a must. There are bolted anchors.
