The Spearhead Huts Committee is pleased to announce that the proposal for the Spearhead Huts System in Garibaldi Provincial Park was formally submitted to BC Parks on May 31, 2012. The proposal has five components, which can be viewed and downloaded here.

The proposal is a basis for discussion with BC Parks and will be modified according to their comments. The Spearhead Huts Committee expects that BC Parks staff will visit the proposed hut sites during Summer 2012 to assess their acceptability. The Committee then hopes to receive comments back from BC Parks in late Fall 2012.
