Trip Report

Hi,

Joffre lake is getting more snow, but trees and rocks are not cover yet.

Trail was quite busy on Wednesday, lot's of people starting the hike 2hours before the dark with converse and jogging. Completely unprepared. It was really funny, and a bit scary. Trail was fine to hike up in the morning, but crampons or small chains for shoes, was not luxury on the way down. We saw 2 guy going up for backcountry skiing but they were moving down by shoes few hours after.

Weather was sunny/cloudy, great to enjoy a good time and nice view outside !
Cheers,

Guillaume

Tricky time of year to plan for any and all conditions. Thanks for posting!
