Participant Information

This will be a day trip, with car camp the previous day. It is going to be a long trip (possibly 15+hrs) with cumulative elevation gain for the summit day around 2500m (8000ft). Participants must have good fitness level for a long strenuous trip, you don't have to be super fast, but must have good endurance. When you register for a trip, please send me info about your recent longest/most elevation gain trip. You also must be comfortable on class 3/4 rock. We will be carrying a rope, but I don't plan on using it, unless for emergency.

Day 1 (Friday, Aug 14th) - leave town around 5pm, and camp at the trailhead (at the end of a spure road, left at 20km on Florence Lake Rd)

Day 2 (Saturday, August 15th) - start at 5am, and climb! Hopefully summit, and go home the same day.

Trip is limited to 8 participants (including organizer).

BCMC members have priority if a trip is full.
