Participant Information

The first e-mail was sent to those on the confirmed list on Sunday, March 3rd (check your spam folder if you did not receive this e-mail). You must confirm that you are joining the trip by replying to the March 3rd e-mail.

Join me on a day trip to Mount Rohr. If we get an early start and the conditions are good then there is a reasonable chance that the group will make the summit. Beginners are welcome, but participants must have (and know how to use) the standard safety gear (beacon, shovel and probe) and have a reasonably good level of fitness. There are some steep sections, so it is important that participants are reasonably good skiers (e.g., comfortable skiing black runs in poor conditions at a ski resort). Ideally, participants will have taken the BCMC Intro to Backcountry Skiing or the AST-1 course.
