Participant Information

The VOC has a great description of this trip: http://www.ubc-voc.com/wiki/Mount_Sproatt

The steep section typically requires boot packing for about 100 meters.

Participants must bring along and know how to use the standard avalanche safety gear (i.e., beacon, probe and shovel). Ideally, participants will have taken a formal avalanche safety course (e.g., AST-1). A headlamp is also mandatory.
