I am organizing a group to attend a 2 day Glacier Travel and Crevasse Rescue Course through Altus Mountain Guides. The course will be taught by a fully certified mountain guide (ACMG). This course is not being organized by the BCMC.

Day 1: class room environment + afternoon outdoor practice

Day 2: Ski tour around Whistler or Duffy Lake area for field practice

This is for people with backcountry ski touring experience looking to obtain glacier travel and companion rescue. 

Cost: $150 (6 people) - $200 (4 people)

Cost includes guides fee, group equipment, course material.

You would need be bring backcountry touring equipment (ski/splitboard), beacon, probe, shovel, harness.

Total payment and method will be confirmed once final number of participants is known.
