Participant Information

Meet at 10am at the Grouse Grind Trail starting/stretching area, i.e. next to fenced gate.

If you are not familiar with the BCMC Trail route (next to the "Grouse Grind"), please research it beforehand.  You should feel comfortable with hiking alone at your own pace so if you are slower or faster than others you can safely reach the Grouse Mountain Chalet on your own. The plan will be to meet inside the chalet by the fireplace then ride the gondola down ($10 fee). Please bring your cellphone in case you decide to turn around. I suggest you also bring a whistle, extra water and extra clothing... including rain protection.  Consider bringing one or two hiking poles if you're unsure how your knees will deal with the steep 25.8% grade.
