Session Content - everything you need to know to construct and use rescue haul systems for rock and snow.


  • March 14 -- Squamish 6AM to 4PM (Meeting at Taylor Way & #1 Hwy North Vancouver)
  • March 15 -- Squamish  6AM to 4PM (Meeting at Taylor Way & #1 Hwy North Vancouver)

* St. Davids Church Parking Lot.

Minimum Equipment

  • Harness
  • Helmet
  • Suitable clothing for the weather (potentially all day in the rain)
  • Webbing (1” or 9/16”),  min 6m
  • Cord  (7 or 8mm), min 6m
  • Non-lock biners, min 6
  • locking biners, min 4, more recommended
  • 1 pulley (2 recommended)
  • 3 prussics suitable for the rope you have
  • 1 Rope (>30M length, 7 – 11mm diameter)
  • Belay/Rappel device


  • Anchoring Basics session with Justin Bennett or demonstrated very strong anchoring skills
