You must login in order to sign up online for one of the BCMC Trips. If you don't have a BCMC membership account then please obtain one.  If you'd prefer to learn more before joining then please join as a 30-day Guest member.   Some trips are BCMC members only.

Participant Information

Trad, sport, mixed climbing, leading, top roping or any combination thereof depending on group size, participant's ability and type of gear you have.  Smoke Bluffs or other climbing area nearby with a variety of climbing grades.

Participants bring: Harness, belay device, locking biner, climbing shoes and helmet are minimum personal gear requirements.  Bring any other climbing gear including single rope, slings, quick draws, cams, stoppers etc, rappell prusik, personal anchor system for securing yourself.  Bring water and food.

Trip organizer will bring:  60 m single rope, Squamish rack, enough gear for organizer and one other person. 

This is not a course: Participants should be able to belay a climber on lead and top rope.  You should be able to lead climb indoors and/or outdoors.

Need a ride? Use the planning forum for rides.  

Return: Trip organizer would like to be back at Taylor Way by about 6 pm.
