Participant Information

Multi pitch trad and/or sport climbing.  Need even numbers of people for parties of two.

Participants bring: Harness, belay device, locking biner, climbing shoes and helmet are minimum personal gear requirements.  Bring any other climbing gear including single rope, slings, quick draws, cams, stoppers etc, rappell prusik, personal anchor or other system for securing yourself.  Bring water and food.

Trip organizer will bring:  60 m single rope, Squamish rack, enough gear for organizer and one other person.

This is not a course: Participants should be able to belay a climber on lead and top rope.  You should be able to lead climb indoors and/or outdoors.  You should be able to set anchors on a multi pitch climb.

Need a ride? Use the planning forum for rides.

Return: Trip organizer would like to be back at Taylor Way by about 7 pm.

Emergency contact info: please log in, click on: My Account > Edit Profile Information > Private Info and add it (you'll need to re-enter your password).  Your emergency contact info will be stored privately and made available to those organizing trips you choose to attend.

Weather: Check the weather forecast for Squamish on the morning of the trip. Anything above 40% PoP and the trip will be cancelled unless the trip organizer contacts the group to say otherwise.    www.weatheroffice.gc.ca

If you have answered my screening questions before, then you don't need to re-answer them if the answers have not changed.

If you bail after being confirmed and the result is an odd number of participants, then the last person will be deleted unless another person steps in.
