Participant Information

Participants should be able to belay safely and have a helmet ,harness and belay device.  Rigid boots, steel crampons and ice axes are essential.  Gloves, toques and full winter clothing as we may be out of the sun.  A flask of hot tea is great to keep your spirits up and Poles are also handy for the stream crossings.

I have 2 ropes and ice screws and depending on the number of participants we may need extra ropes and screws.

NOTE. WE WILL BE CROSSING THE BORDER SO PLEASE ENSURE YOU DOCUMENTS ARE VALID AND UP TO DATE

Plan to leave Vancouver at 600am have coffee/breakfast in Glacier and then hike up heliotrope ridge to the Seracs.   Finish around 500/600pm and perhaps stop for dinner on the way home.
