Nordic Ski Waxing

By the end of the session, you will be familiar with all the materials and techniques required to wax Nordic skis for all styles, including:

Cleaning your bases Applying glide and kick waxes Applying Klister Waxing waxless bases Tips for selecting appropriate waxes to match conditions

Alpine Ski Waxing
The goal of this clinic is to demonstrate that waxing and maintaining your bases can be done with a few simple tools and inexpensive materials, and can take only a few minutes! As with any sport, you can spend a lot of time and money on advanced waxing techniques and equipment. But, our goal today is that you walk away from this clinic with the knowledge to get you waxing your skis & boards simply, effectively and affordably.

Snowga: Blending yoga & Snowsports

You will discover new ways to enhance your mind, body and soul connectiveness while performing the incredible practice of yoga lead by the very talented, Jeff Grace.

Introduction to Snow Sports (MEC Marketplace)

Ever thought about going snowshoeing or cross country skiing, but don't know where to get started? This engaging and fun course will focus on Snowshoeing and Cross Country Skiing for beginners, local resources and snow destinations. We will look at specific clothing considerations to stay warm and dry in a winter environment, safety on snow, equipment options for both cross-country and snowshoe sports, and finally where to go locally and regionally to have fun in the snow.

Avalanche Canada Backcountry Workshop
Join Avalanche Canada for a great information session regarding backcountry adventures and avalanche awareness.

Introduction to Ice Climbing
