Participant Information

The objective will be to ski off the north aspects of Metal Dome. The plan is to follow the route that John Baldwin describes from the "dog sled" parking lot. I recently moved to BC and am exploring the Coast Mountains on skis. I have not done the route and am not familiar with the area. I don't expect you to be either (part of the fun is exploring). So there may be some route finding involved (if the trail is not obvious).

Participants should have taken AST-1 or equivalent (e.g. AIARE Level 1) and should research the route and objective. Beacon, shovel, and prove are required.
