Recommended Reading and Practice before signing up:

1) Create an Account on Backcountrybc.ca (free) https://www.backcountrybc.ca

2) Practice using the backcountrybc.ca GPX Editing and Mapping tools (see below)

a) https://backcountrybc.ca/maps-and-media/gps-and-mapping-tools/gpx-editor-uk

b) https://backcountrybc.ca/maps-and-media/gps-and-mapping-tools/wtracks-gpx-editor

Bonus Power GPX Editor:

c) CalTopo:  https://backcountrybc.ca/maps-and-media/gps-and-mapping-tools/caltopo-gpx-edit-and-render-tool

If the course is full and you are still interested, I encourage you to sign up on the waiting list.  This will give me an indication as to whether or not I should run a repeat of the workshop.

Those interested in working in Google Earth should install Google Earth in their laptop prior to the course.

**Note the price increase to $20.00 for this offering**.  As REI charges $50.00 USD for their 2 hour GPS workshop, the cost of the BCMC GPS workshop is bargain.
