Participant Information

Basic outline:
Loop trip around Table Mountain near Mt Baker Ski Area. Medium distance and varried vert depending on how motivated the group is for laps. Food and beverages afterwards at Chair 9. Festivities and NWAC fundraiser (i.e. prizes!) after that courtesy of Splitfest (no formal affiliation). This trip is aimed at splitboarders because it's during Splitfest, but all BCMCers are welcome.

Mandatory equip:
Split / boots / poles / skins / all that good stuff
Beacon / probe / shovel
Headlamp / 1st aid / tools & spare parts for your setup
Lunch / drink / appropriate clothing / spare layers and gloves
Sunnies / goggles
Passport / Nexus / Enhanced Drivers Licence

Strong recommend:
Cookies / chocolate / sweets
US $

Nice if you have them (I carry all of these):
Phone in IP67 case (If you use Gaia/Avenza, bring a phone battery pack)
CAA Notebook

Meetup and logistics:
06:30 meeting at the Chevron at Boundary near Grandview. 06:35 departure. Optional 07:20 stop at Abbottsford Costco to pick up Fraser Valley BCMCers if required. Skins on and heading uphill from Heather Meadows by ~09:00. Expect a late return to Vancouver thanks to apres at Chair 9. I can drive me+3 if we don't have much gear; me+2 if we do. As per BCMC guidelines, expect a $15-20 share of fuel.
