Participant Information

Rock climbing in the Smoke Bluffs, Squamish.

This trip is for those who know how to at least top rope belay safely and have outdoor and/or indoor climbing experience. We'll need someone / some people who know how to lead belay to make the trip a go. We'll try to get a good ratio of ropes to climbers. Note: This is not a course, but more experienced climbers can feel free to share their knowledge with others.

The goal is to climb at one or more crags of the Smoke Bluffs. We'll decide on the crag the morning of. Was planning on climbing 5.6ish to 5.10 and climbing until roughly 5pm.

Let's meet at St. David's Church at #1 Hwy and Taylor Way to arrange carpools.

Personal gear needed: Harness, belay device, shoes, biners, helmet, chalk bag, water/food, sunscreen, shades.

Optional gear if you have it: Trad rack, rope, personal anchor system, top rope anchor, draws.
