Trip Planning Questions

When was your last 10 hour day on the trail?

When was the last time you used your ice axe, crampons and pickets?

What is your steep snow experience?

Have you attempted Wedge in the past?

Can you drive, and if so, how many passengers can you take?

Participant Information

See Alpine Select route #46 (Northeast Arete)

Late start on the first day aiming to camp near the hut, alpine start the next day. For the descent, the group will decide to reverse the route or come down via the West Ridge depending on the conditions. You must be comfortable with steep snow and trained for glacier travel.

We can discuss gear and meetup point in the planning forum.  The trip is weather dependent and the current forecasts are contradictory.  We'll know for sure by Friday.  Sadly I can only do the a weekend trip.

Join this trip only if you have done your own research and you're confident about your fitness level and skill.
