Participant Information

Daytrip from Vancouver to Needle Peak in The Coquihalla.

Depending on conditions, we will attempt skiing from the summit ridge. Laps in the bowl are also options.

Skiers should be comfortable climbing 1,400m in a day. You must be able skiing black diamond runs in variable conditions. You'll get turns breaking trail, so decent fitness is required.

As always, AST 1 or better is required. Bring all the usual avie gear, clothing and headlamp. Breaks will be short, so best to bring food to be eaten on the go.

We're not trying to be superheroes, but this trip is not for beginners.  Please exercise judgement before joining.
