Can you drive? How many passengers can you take?
If we haven't skied together before:
What Avalanche training have you taken? How recently have you practiced?
What are some recent ski tours that you've been on?
What ski tours of similar or greater elevation gain have you done?

We'll use a relatively new logging road to approach the valley South of Mt Taylor and North of Duffey Peak. If conditions allow, we'll try to summit Mt Taylor and ski down its SW slopes. This looks like it'd be a great 1000m run. If conditions are not so good, the more densely treed West side of Taylor (which is where the mapped route goes), Mt Tszil, Duffey Peak, or the basin in between are backup options.
Map. It's about 1350m elevation gain and 11km. The first 2km or so until 1140m elevation follows a new logging road. The rest I just made up from looking at maps and satellite photos, and we will not necessarily follow it exactly. Please research the area and be prepared to help with navigation.
A trip report on bivouac from 2017, before the new logging road was built, describes a terrible bushwhack from the highway to Slalok Creek. I expect that the new road will avoid most of this, but I'd still expect some thrashing.
Gear required: Avalanche gear (transceiver, probe, shovel), AT, tele, or splitboard equipment, headlamp.
Welcome additional gear: GPS, PLB, camera, first aid kit, radios.
