I’ve booked two small cabins at the at the Coquihalla Lakes Resort, Friday and Saturday nights, March 7 and 8. The plan is to tour on Saturday and Sunday while avoiding some of the driving. Below is the link to cabins. I have reserved cabins #7 and #8 (same as the dates). Please review the websites and information about the cabins prior to signing up.

Pillows and sleeping bags are required, as is food, drink, etc. It’s basically a mini hut trip, but with showers and wi-fi. The cabins hold 3 or 4 and are quite nice. There are beds for three, so four would mean a double-up or sleeping mat. 3 people per cabin = $113 each for the weekend. 4 people per cabin = $95 each for the weekend. We can discuss the numbers as people sign up. You will have to e-transfer the funds to me before you are confirmed on the trip.
Priority will be given to skiers who can commit to both nights at the cabin. I’m posting this as two separate trips as there may be other skiers joining later for one of the two days. I ran a similar style trip to The Duffy a couple weeks ago and it worked out really well.
Conditions in the area can be quite wind scoured. Ski crampons may be required for the icy bits. Please follow the weather and avalanche reports as we will respond accordingly.
Day 1: Zupjik, Llama, maybe Alpaca
Day 2: Flat Iron or Markhor
.gpx tracks are posted in the trip files.
There is room in the Taco for four so we'll need at least one other driver. Hope to see you at Coquihalla Lakes!
