A hidden gem in the Pemberton Valley area: the views from the ridge are mind blowing and is almost guarantee to be the only ones around there:)
More details about the trail:
https://forums.clubtread.com/27-british-columbia/41332-sugarloaf-strunk-apr-28-2012-a.html
There is about 1km of forest to navigate, from around 1380m to 1716m elevation, where the ridge starts all the way to the peak area, so it is a very simple trail overall.
Please be considerate and do NOT sign up unless you are 100% committed for the trip and you are at least an intermediate skier(can do black runs in any conditions, including trees) in the Backcountry. If in doubt about your capabilities send me a message and we can talk about it:)
Will be moving at a moderate pace. Not for slow people, sorry.
We are going to use an FSR to access the ridge, so the actual distance will vary as to how high we can drive: a good 4x4 is required for this FSR. For the last 2-3KM on the FSR, will carry the gear in one of the 4x4 cars to the snow line.
There is no carpooling with the exception of members of the same household, or people within exclusive “social bubbles”.
