An amazing loop that uses Hurley FSR(it will be nicely graded by then, so any car can make it) to access an incredibly beautiful area.
From the Hurley Rd, will access the Locomotive peak area, then continue along the ridge towards Tender and Caboose peaks. Lastly will reach the Faceless peak area from where will drop down over the Train glacier to loop back to our uptrack at 1700m: a beautiful 3.5km long run( fingers crossed for good weather/visibility!).
I doubt that will be any bootpacking here but probably some challenging terrain through the trees.
If you never skied with me, you must contact me before signing up.
You must be flexible with the date, either Saturday or Sunday, forecast dependable.
Please be considerate and do NOT sign up unless you are 100% committed for the trip and you are at least an intermediate skier(can do black runs in any conditions, including trees) in the Backcountry. If in doubt about your capabilities send me a message and we can talk about it:)
Will be moving at moderate-fast pace, so if you are a slow skier this trip might not be for you.
