This is a scenic hiking and scrambling route following a long ridge line including two peaks... with a couple of "spicy" exposed 4th Class crux sections.  I'm expecting very little snow on the route by the time we go.

Timeline:

Meeting... 6:00am, Chevron (Boundary Road near Grandview Hwy)
Driving... about 2 hrs from the meeting place to the parking spot.
Hiking... estimations indicate we'll need about 6 hrs car-to-car.
Return... we'll stop for a meal on the way home... be back about 8pm.

Route:
We'll ascend to Markhor Peak, then traverse over to Needle Peak, and then descend via the regular Needle peak trail.  Please note... there will be some exposure along the ridge traverse between the peaks... but most people do not use a harness and rope.  Let me know if that might be an issue for you.  You may bring a harness and rope if you feel the need.
