Trip Date and Time:
Dec 12, Start Time - 7:30 am
The plan is to hike up BCMC and continue hiking on Snowshoe Grind (to Dam Mountain). Depending on the group and conditions, we can hike to Thunderbird Ridge (Discovery Loop) as well. If you just want to do the Snowshoe Grind (4.3 km), you have an option to take the Gondola (Skyride) and join the group at the Chalet.
Meeting Time: 7:30 am at the gate of Grouse Grind/BCMC Trail; 8:45-9:00 am at the Grouse Chalet.
Total Distance: 10.3 km (BCMC + Snowshoe Grind) + Discovery Loop (1.4 km)
Elevation Gain: 1100 m
Please bring microspikes (good for BCMC and Snowshoe Grind) in addition to other hiking gear. Snowshoes might be required if we plan to extend the hike to Thunderbird Ridge (Discovery Loop) trail.
A mask is required inside the Chalet.
