Participant Information

Mid-week morning snowshoe / microspike at a brisk pace.

This is a well marked and traveled route that will likely a well packed by Wednesday.   Weather is looking good so we should have some great views.  The extra traction of snowshoes might be preferable in places but I've gone with micro-spikes and poles the last few times I've been up there in similar conditions...

We will need to obtain free Backcountry Access Passes at the Black Mountain Lodge and can meet outside the entrance at 9:15am.

Distance: 7.5km
Elevation Gain: 404m

All participants should follow the COVID related guidelines posted on BCMC website.

  • Physical distance will be maintained throughout the day.

Full covid protocols are available at https://bcmc.ca/bcmc/files/BCMCCovidDec82020Phase3%20Guidelines.pdf
